SMRC Final 2008 Meeting and Championship Winners

The final SMRC race meeting of the year took place at Knockhill on Sunday 19th October. To cap off the club's most successful year ever in terms of number of entrant, no fewer than three championships were decided on the day which saw the usual blend of close, exciting racing. The club would like to thank and congratulate all drivers who have taken part during the season for making it such a success. Thanks must also go to everyone else involved in the running of the meeting including the marshals, timekeepers, scrutineers, other officials and the Knockhill staff - without their help and perseverance the events could not happen and they are just as much part of this historic year for the club.

Photos from the BTCC Meeting at Knockhill on 15/16 August, featuring various Scottish drivers and marshals, are also available for viewing. In addition, photos from the Formula Ford Walter Hayes Meeting at Silverstone are also available for viewing. A selection of Scottish drivers attended the meeting with good results once again confirming the pedigree and talent of the Scottish Formula Ford Championship.
