Grading

The MSA Grading system for marshals takes experience and training into account. New marshals start at the Trainee stage and can then work up the ladder at whatever pace they want. Signatures are awarded at a meeting where it is felt that the marshal has successfully carried out their duties, and attendance at a training day (T) and fire training (F) are often required for an upgrade.
